We are looking for a Buyer to support our Manufacturing Facility in Grand Prairie, TX. Our growing manufacturing facility produces high-quality, make-to-order power distribution equipment. Our processes include material handling, metal fabrication, painting, final assembly, and test.

• Lead MRP via SAP and place Purchase Orders with internal and external vendors
• Review SAP master data including minimum order quantities, safety stocks, lead times, purchasing info records and provide forecasting as needed
• Evaluate the current supply chain and improve it by working with our corporate resources
• Analyze large amounts of data to develop sourcing strategies by component and supplier
• Responsible for meeting inventory targets, delivery reliability, and cost-saving initiatives for the site
• Address GRIR (goods receipt/invoice receipt) discrepancies and late purchase order processing
• Work closely with production, planning and customer service to fulfill customer requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• BS/BA preferred; will consider candidates with experience in lieu of a degree. If degree is in process will be considered too
• 3‑5 years of experience in manufacturing environment in a buyer role
• Experience in fast paced business
• Hands‑on knowledge of SAP, Excel and Microsoft Office
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer‑sponsored work authorization now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

• Lean Manufacturing experience
• Microsoft Access
• Excel Macros
• APICS CSCP and/or CPIM

The pay range for this position is $60,333 - $103,428 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
