Demand Planner

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Demand Forecasting – Develop and maintain SKU-level demand forecasts using Netstock forecasting tools.

Demand Analysis – Review historical sales, customer demand patterns, seasonality, promotions, new product activity, and market intelligence to improve forecast accuracy.

Collaborative Planning – Lead cross-functional demand reviews with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, Purchasing, Operations, and Distribution.

Forecast Alignment – Gather and incorporate customer, sales, and market intelligence; challenge assumptions and drive accountability for forecast inputs.

Netstock Administration – Serve as the primary user and subject matter expert for Netstock demand planning functions, including forecasting parameters, exception alerts, range reviews, and forecast adjustments.

Inventory Optimization – Collaborate with Purchasing and Supply Planning to establish inventory targets and identify stockout, excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory risks.

Lifecycle Planning – Support new product introductions, product transitions, supersessions, and end-of-life planning.

SIOP Support – Prepare and present demand planning inputs, forecast performance, assumptions, risks, and opportunities for the monthly SIOP process.

Cross-Functional Communication – Communicate forecast changes, demand priorities, supply constraints, and inventory risks to the appropriate stakeholders.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement – Maintain reports for forecast accuracy, forecast bias, service levels, fill rate, inventory turns, and inventory health; recommend improvements to planning processes and data quality.

Experience, Skills &

Education:

Education – Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.

Experience – 3+ years in demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, or supply chain planning, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

Systems

– Experience with demand planning or inventory optimization software;
Netstock experience preferred.

Technical Skills – Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with ERP, reporting, and business intelligence tools.

Analytical Skills – Strong ability to interpret demand data, identify trends and exceptions, evaluate forecast performance, and translate findings into business actions.

Communication – Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.

Additional Qualities Necessary:

Onsite in Grand Prairie, TX.Must be well organized and demonstrate the ability to simultaneously handle multiple duties, prioritize and follow through on all tasks and projects, and meet pre-determined deadlines with limited supervision.

Demonstrate strong business acumen, attention to detail, collaborative problem solving, and data-driven decision making.
