Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Electrical Construction
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $125,000 – $165,000 base (commensurate with experience) + performance bonus + benefits
The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (Sr PM) to lead complex electrical construction projects across commercial, industrial, and transportation sectors. This role is responsible for overseeing all phases of project execution—from pre-construction planning through final commissioning—ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, technical expertise in electrical systems, and a proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar projects in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage multiple large-scale electrical construction projects simultaneously
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and forecasting
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, field supervisors, and project engineers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, engineers, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, electrical codes, and company standards
- Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, and procurement agreements
- Monitor project performance metrics and implement corrective action as needed
- Lead project meetings and provide executive-level reporting
- Drive risk management and cost-control strategies
- Mentor and develop project management staff
- 6+ years of project management experience in electrical construction
- Proven experience managing commercial, industrial, and/or transportation infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, controls, and related construction methods
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets of $10M+
- Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Strong financial acumen and contract management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
- Experience with transportation infrastructure (rail, airport, roadway, or transit electrical systems)
- Design-build project delivery experience
- PMP certification or equivalent
- OSHA 30 certification
- Base salary: $125,000 – $165,000
