General Superintendent – Electrical Construction
Location: DFW Metroplex (Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex)
Industry: Commercial & Industrial Electrical Construction
Compensation: $200,000 – $230,000 Base Salary (DOE) + Full Benefits
About The OpportunityOur client is seeking an experienced General Superintendent – Electrical Construction to lead large-scale commercial and industrial electrical projects throughout the DFW market. This is a senior-level field leadership role responsible for overseeing multiple project sites, driving schedule performance, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and mentoring field leadership teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational leadership, proven financial awareness, and the ability to manage complex electrical builds with project values upwards of $15M+.
Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)- 3+ official years of experience as a General Superintendent overseeing electrical construction projects
- Proven leadership on commercial and/or industrial electrical projects
- Experience managing projects with budgets of $10–15 million minimum
- Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple superintendents and large field crews
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, construction sequencing, and safety standards
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
- Provide executive-level field leadership across multiple electrical construction projects
- Direct and mentor Project Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, and field teams
- Oversee scheduling, manpower forecasting, and productivity performance
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and company policies
- Coordinate with Project Management on budgets, cost controls, and change orders
- Maintain high-level client relationships and represent the company on-site
- Drive schedule performance and proactively mitigate risks
- Lead OAC meetings and ensure clear communication between stakeholders
- Experience in mission-critical, manufacturing, healthcare, data center, or large commercial environments
- Strong background in industrial power distribution, switch gear, and complex electrical infrastructure
- OSHA certifications (30-hour minimum preferred)
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license (preferred but not required)
- Base Salary: $200K – $230K (based on experience and track record)
