Overview
You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Senior for the Manufacturing Engineering team. Our team is responsible for improving the producibility of early designs and creating manufacturing plans and processes that support the evolving demands of the Warfighter.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement robust manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve production issues.
- Drive continuous improvements to manufacturing workflows.
- Ensure compliance with all quality and safety standards.
- Provide technical support and manufacturing feedback on new product designs.

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in related engineering discipline.
- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance; an Interim Secret clearance is required prior to start.
- Work experience in an Electrical Manufacturing shop specific to the manufacture of CCAs, PWBs, wiring harnesses and/or Flexes.
- A broad base of professional knowledge regarding electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical manufacturing.
- Professional experience with product manufacturability (DFM), producibility, and design for cost (DFC).
- Demonstrated skills in team building and leading through influence in a professional setting.
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, including to non‑technical personnel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with the design and manufacturing of complex electromechanical systems.
- Experience with mechanical assembly, manufacturing tooling design, factory design, and factory flow.
- Related professional level career experience in production operations.
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification.
- Experience in program development with emphasis on cross‑functional collaboration and leadership.
- Experience in capacity & capital planning.
- Understanding and wide application of assembly and test methods.
- First Unit Flow planning & execution.
- Statement of work and proposal development experience.
- Experience with Make‑Buy generation and strategy.
- Experience in the design of manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, machining and material handling.
- Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) knowledge/experience.
This position requires a government security clearance. The candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a Secret clearance (interim required prior to start).
LocationThis position is in Dallas, Texas.
Work ScheduleSchedule:
4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
