The OpportunityThe Document Control Specialist will work closely with the New Product Introduction (NPI) team, ensuring that unique and customized orders are fully documented, planned, and ready for production. This role is critical in the research and testing phase before mass production, providing clear and organized documentation that supports both production and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities- Support the NPI team in creating and maintaining accurate documentation for new or customized products
- Prepare and maintain Work Instructions, Engineering Documentation, Quality Alerts, and Schematics
- Ensure documentation is clear, consistent, and accessible for the production team
- Assist with audits by providing organized and compliant documentation
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to maintain documentation integrity
- Track documentation for future reference and use in repeat or similar projects
- Ensure proper version control and adherence to company documentation standards
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in document control, engineering support, or a related role within manufacturing
- Experience in wire harness, cable assemblies, control panels, or related industrial manufacturing is highly preferred
- Knowledge of NPI processes and product lifecycle documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, document management systems, and technical schematics
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
