Lockheed Martin Missile & Fire Control is looking for a motivated, results-driven Manufacturing Skills Technical Trainer to join our skills training team. Our facility builds and assembles missiles, rockets, and military-grade vehicles, and we need a dedicated trainer to design, deliver, and maintain technical instruction that empowers our workforce with the expertise required to produce these high-performance defense systems.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Skills Trainer you will be responsible for administering and implementing technical skills training programs to ensure our production workforce has the necessary skills to excel in their roles. You will develop and deliver instructor‑led training, assess student progress, and manage training resources.

  • Preparing lesson plans and training materials
  • Scheduling courses and delivering instructor‑led training
  • Administering assessments and publishing reports
  • Creating and modifying employee training plans
  • Managing training resources, including facilities, equipment, and materials

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Proven success teaching technical concepts in aerospace or manufacturing settings
  • Skilled at delivering hands‑on, demonstration‑based instruction
  • Strong mechanical aptitude for aerospace/industrial manufacturing assembly
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
