Job Title
Planner/Buyer – Grand Prairie, Texas Breaker Manufacturing Facility
Responsibilities- Coordinate and balance supply and demand, evaluating work center capacity and material supply to develop detailed production plans achieving high schedule adherence.
- Work closely with production and customer service to plan and prioritize operations to meet customer requirements on time while maximizing performance and meeting financial goals.
- Collaborate with purchasing and procurement to ensure material availability and find alternatives when challenges arise.
- Drive and coordinate daily production meetings.
- Analyze large amounts of data to develop strategies for continuous improvement.
- Review, update, and adjust SAP material master or configurations.
- Ensure delivery reliability, schedule adherence, and cost‑saving/productivity initiatives for the site.
- Support the coordination and execution of customer/engineering changes.
- Promote teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate current supply chain and support improvements in collaboration with local and corporate resources.
- Publish weekly and monthly schedules to internal support teams such as purchasing, warehouse, and fabrication.
Basic Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in production planning or production control with SAP in a manufacturing environment.
- BS/BA/BSE in a related discipline, or an advanced degree. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Advanced hands‑on knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel).
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred
Skills:
- APICS certification.
- Lean manufacturing experience.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), organization, and problem‑solving skills.
