You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr (Level
3) for the Advanced Programs team. Our team is responsible for improving producibility of early designs and creating manufacturing plans and processes to support the evolving demands of the Warfighter.
** What You Will Be Doing
** As the Manufacturing Engineer Sr (Level
3) you will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes and plans that drive efficiency, quality, and innovation in our production operations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement manufacturing plans and processes to support new and evolving product designs.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to improve producibility and reduce production risks.
- Identify and apply process improvements that increase efficiency, quality, and throughput.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth transition of new products and processes into production.
- Provide ongoing analysis and feedback to sustain continuous improvement of manufacturing operations.

** This position is in Dallas. [Discover more about our Dallas, Texas location.](a href=){:target="_blank" rel="noopener no referrer"} MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline
• Experience working in a manufacturing shop
• Must have the ability to obtain an interim Secret security clearance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Experience with Manufacturing / Assembly / Production processes
• Experience with creating/reviewing work instruction Desired
Skills:
• CREO Design Experience or other CAD program
• Electrical background
• Ability to work independently and as a group with little guidance.
• Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Security Clearance Statement:

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
