* You will be the Manufacturing Painter B for the Manufacturing Coatings Team Our team is responsible for delivering high quality protective finishes for aerospace components
** What You Will Be Doing*
* As the Manufacturing Painter B you will be responsible for applying protective coatings, operating paint equipment, and ensuring precision in finish work
Your responsibilities will include:
+ Apply various protective coatings, primers, paints, inks, and finishes to detail parts and assemblies
+ Operate paint equipment and facilities, following drawings, schematics, and verbal instructions
+ Prepare surfaces, apply masking, and verify accuracy using precision measuring tools
+ Rework parts as required and maintain a clean, orderly work area
+ Document work and communicate any issues to supervisors

* Basic Qualifications:
*
* High school degree or equivalent
Zero 0 to twelve 12 months related experience
Must have the ability to work 1st or 2nd shift according to the collective bargaining agreement

Skills:

* Team oriented person who has experience in Spray gun operation HVLP
Experience mixing coatings to exact ratios epoxy, polyurethane, primers
Knowledge of Film thickness control mils matter in aerospace
Experience with surface prep sanding, solvent wipe, water break test
Experience with masking for sharp, clean lines
** Security Clearance Statement:
** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration

** Work Schedules:
** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits
** Schedule for this Position:
** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
