Job Description
Airbus Helicopters is looking for an Aircraft Tech A Blades (Paint) to join our Blades Repair team based in Grand Prairie, TX.
Your duties will consist of preparing all components and airframe surfaces for painting and performing the painting of the components and airframes in accordance with Airbus manufacturer procedures.
Responsibilities- Paint Preparation – Prepare all surfaces for paint by sanding, masking, filling, washing and removing dents and surface imperfections; apply corrosive preventative treatments, primers, and finish coats of special material.
- Paint – Mix and/or tint paint as required; perform layout of paint schemes as specified by the customer; apply paint materials to all prepared surfaces according to manufacturer instructions; complete aircraft for customer acceptance by brush touch-up, cleaning striping lines and removal of overspray.
- Documentation – Release and update time sheets daily; sign off work clearly and legibly; fill out discrepancy sheets and other required records; complete toolbox audit sheets at shift end.
- Additional Responsibilities – Other duties as assigned.

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred:
Some trade school education.
- Required:
Minimum of four years painting and paint preparation on metal and composite/fiberglass components. - Preferred:

- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Onsite: 100%.
- Vision, hearing, speaking and general competency for daily tasks.
- Equipment operation, carrying up to 30 lbs, lifting 30 lbs, pushing/pulling, squatting/kneeling, standing, walking, and wearing required PPE.
