Sheet Metal Fabricator C - Dallas, TX
OverviewYou will be responsible for performing complex sheet metal assembly operations to support the development of experimental, production, and prototype missile systems and other assemblies.
ResponsibilitiesAs the Sheet Metal Fabricator C you will be responsible for laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and reworking a wide variety of semi‑complicated parts and assemblies. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lay out sheet‑metal components according to engineering drawings.
- Fabricate parts using cutting, bending, and forming equipment.
- Assemble sub‑assemblies and complete units.
- Install fabricated components onto larger systems.
- Rework or repair parts to meet quality standards.
- Equivalent to a high school diploma and one (1) to three (3) years of related experience.
- Prior experience in riveting and nut plates.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- U.S. citizen (mandatory due to facility access).
- Experience with sheet metal brakes and shears.
- Experience using sheet metal cutting tools.
This position is in Dallas, Texas. The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
