Join our manufacturing client's team as a Second Shift Production Supervisor!
Our client, a leading global technology company, is looking for a skilled Production Supervisor to join our Grand Prairie, TX plant. In this key role, you'll be the driving force behind daily production processes, ensuring smooth operations and the achievement of production goals. As the main point of contact between the hourly assembly workforce and management, you’ll play a vital role in facilitating communication and enhancing productivity.

Pay Rangeup to $35 an hour depending on experience
ShiftMonday-Friday 4 pm-12:30 am (potential overtime)
May require working Saturday if needed

What’s the Job?- Lead initiatives to reduce production errors, improve quality, and boost productivity.
- Oversee production schedules, assign personnel to work areas, monitor progress, resolve issues, and report results through shift summaries.
- Facilitate training programs based on production needs.
- Conduct annual employee performance reviews.
- Maintain a collaborative relationship with the local union in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
- Act as a liaison between Manufacturing and Engineering teams.
- Work closely with purchasing, planning and warehouse teams to ensure material availability and schedule adherence.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts across all areas of production.
- Champion the adoption of digital tools like Digital Work Instructions, Operator Displays, and Performance/Status Dashboards.
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role within an Assembly/Manufacturing or related field.
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools.
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Project management experience.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- Strong leadership, time management, and performance management skills.
- Excellent English communication skills (both oral and written).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with computer programming and/or database management.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar MRP systems.
