We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welder specializing in MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding to join our dynamic fabrication team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, including metal fabrication, sheet metal assembly, and structural welding on construction sites. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional mechanical knowledge, precision measurement skills, and adherence to safety protocols.

Your expertise will contribute to delivering high-quality welded components that meet industry standards and client specifications.

• Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) using appropriate techniques for various metal materials including sheet metal and structural steel.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical fabrication plans to ensure accurate assembly and welding processes.
• Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math skills to verify dimensions and tolerances during fabrication.
• Operate power tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment safely to prepare materials for welding or assembly.
• Follow safety protocols rigorously to maintain a secure work environment on construction sites and within fabrication shops.
• Assemble fabricated components accurately according to specifications, ensuring proper fit-up and weld quality.
• Maintain detailed records of welding procedures, inspections, and quality control checks in compliance with AWS (American Welding Society) standards.

• Proven experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of construction processes and safety standards.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, SMAW, and gas metal arc welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans effectively.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and hand tools essential for precise fabrication.
• Mechanical knowledge of metal materials including sheet metal fabrication and structural components.
• Experience with plasma cutting, machining, assembly, and using power tools in a fabrication environment.
• Strong understanding of AWS standards for weld quality and safety protocols adherence.
• Ability to perform shop math accurately for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
• Construction site experience is highly preferred to ensure seamless integration into project workflows.
• Bilingual a plus.
