We are seeking a
highly skilled and experienced CNC Operator
to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience operating and programming CNC machines, with
preferred familiarity with Zimmermann high-speed milling machines
. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of producing precision components while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

• Operate, set up, and monitor
  CNC milling machines
  , with a focus on
  Zimmermann portal/gantry milling systems
• Read and interpret
  engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files
  to determine machining requirements
• Write, edit, and optimize
  CNC programs
  (G-code/M-code) for complex part geometries
• Perform
  tool selection, tool changes, and offsets
  to ensure dimensional accuracy
• Conduct
  first-article inspections
  and in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM)
• Identify and resolve
  machine faults, tooling issues, and program errors
  proactively
• Perform
  routine maintenance
  and coordinate with maintenance teams for scheduled servicing
• Maintain accurate
  production records
  , inspection logs, and machine utilization reports
• Adhere strictly to
  health, safety, and environmental (HSE)standards and procedures
• Collaborate with
  engineers, quality teams, and production planners
  to meet delivery targets
• Mentor and support
  junior CNC operators
  as needed

• High School Diploma or GED(required)
• Technical/Vocational Certificate or Associate's Degree in
  Machining Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  (preferred)

• Minimum5+ years
  of hands-on CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated experience with
  large-format or gantry-style CNC milling machines
• Strong knowledge of
  CNC control systems

• Expert-level understanding of
  GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Proficiency with
  precision measurement tools
  and inspection equipment
• Ability to machine a variety of materials including acrylic.
• Strong understanding of
  feeds, speeds, and cutting parameters
• Familiarity with 5-axis machining operations

• Direct hands-on experience withF. Zimmermann milling machines
  (e.g., FZ Series)
• Experience in
  aerospace
  , manufacturing sectors
• Knowledge of
  lean manufacturing
  principles and continuous improvement (Kaizen, 5S)

• Strong
  problem-solving
  and analytical thinking
• Excellent
  attention to detail
  and commitment to quality
• Ability to work
  independently and as part of a team
• Good
  communication skills
  for cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to
  prioritize tasks
