Display positive attitude and teamwork skills. Must complete a pre-employment physical and drug test. Must pass pulmonary fitness test. Must complete power jack/forklift training course, Lock Out/Tag Out and Hazard Communication training courses. Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day. Ability to frequently bend, lift and twist. Must be able and available to work overtime as required.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as production demands may require:

• Must obey all safety, USDA, HACCP, and the Company rules and regulations.
• Must know shop mathematics, able to interpret drawings, and be able to use tools required.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to utilize hand tools and testing equipment
• Observe and record temperatures and pressures as required
• Observe and maintain air compressors and dryers
• Maintain water systems including pumps and softeners
• Variety of pipe fitting and plumbing, work with PVC, galvanized, black and stainless pipe up to 4” dia.
• Perform HAZMAT duties as required.
• Keep compressor rooms and related areas cleaned
• Physical requirements must be able to lift 50-70 lbs. on a consistent basis.
• Must have good communication skills (both written and oral).
• Must be able to work weekends and overtime.
• Communicating with management when there are concerns with the following:
  Production Safety Employee Relations
• Performs other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by customer or client. Also, perform other related duties as required by management.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities .

High school diploma or equivalent .

Minimum of 1 year work related experience .

No other requirements.

High noise, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, moving equipment and dust may be present. Job requires frequent bending, lifting and twisting, climbing, working in tight places, etc. Employees will wear personal protective equipment as necessary or required.
