Machine Operators - Die Cutters and Envelope Folders
Location: Grand Prairie, Texas, 75050
Job Summary
Goelzer Envelopes is seeking dependable Machine Operators to run die cutting and envelope folding equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Successful candidates will be quality-focused, mechanically inclined, safety-minded, and committed to meeting production goals.
Key Responsibilities- Operate die cutting and envelope folding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Set up machines according to job specifications and production requirements.
- Monitor product quality throughout each production run and make basic adjustments as needed.
- Perform routine machine checks, cleanup, and basic preventive maintenance tasks.
- Complete production reporting, quality documentation, and material usage records.
- Assist with material handling, staging, packaging, and finished goods movement.
- Communicate equipment issues, quality concerns, and production delays to leads or supervisors.
- Follow all safety, housekeeping, and standard operating procedures.
- Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn production equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with strong attention to detail.
- Strong attendance, reliability, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to read work orders, production instructions, and basic quality specifications.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Printing, packaging, envelope manufacturing, or paper converting experience.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
