Press Brake Operator – Amada

3rd Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM

We are looking for a skilled CNC Press Brake Operator who possesses direct experience with Amada machinery. In this role, you will manage the configuration and operation of CNC press brake systems, ensuring that all components are manufactured to precise specifications and high-quality standards.

Location: Grand Prairie, TX

Compensation: $15.00–$20.00 per hour

We are looking for a skilled CNC Press Brake Operator who possesses direct experience with Amada machinery. In this role, you will manage the configuration and operation of CNC press brake systems, ensuring that all components are manufactured to precise specifications and high-quality standards.

• Configure and manage the operation of Amada CNC press brake machinery.
• Choose and install the correct press brake tooling for specific tasks.
• Execute machine configurations and necessary modifications for upcoming production runs.
• Process a diverse range of metal materials in various gauges.
• Interpret and adhere to production travelers, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
• Verify finished components to help guarantee that measurements and quality standards satisfy client expectations.
• Conduct routine quality assessments and document any production flaws or irregularities.
• Adhere to the established production timeline and notify management regarding any potential scheduling conflicts.
• Maintain precise and thorough documentation for all production activities.
• Help maintain a safe working environment by strictly following Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and general safety protocols.
• Keep your designated workspace tidy and well-organized.
• Transport finished goods and documentation to the designated shipping or production zones to ensure efficient workflow.

• Proven background in operating CNC press brake machinery.
• Direct experience working with Amada press brakes is highly valued.
• Demonstrated proficiency in performing machine setups.
• Technical understanding of press brake forming, bending, and tooling.
• Capability to conduct quality inspections and validate part dimensions.
• Ability to interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and precise measurements.
• Experience handling various types of metal materials.
• Strong focus on detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Prior experience in metal fabrication or general manufacturing environments.

• Capacity to remain standing for long durations.
• Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate safely in proximity to heavy machinery and metal components.

All team members are expected to comply with established safety guidelines, which include the use of required PPE, eye protection, adherence to emergency protocols, and compliance with Hazard Communication and Lockout/Tagout procedures.

We are seeking a professional with practical experience in setting up and running Amada Press Brakes, including a solid grasp of metal forming, tooling, blueprint interpretation, measurement techniques, and quality control processes.
