Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a VP of Production Planning & Scheduling to build and modernize its planning function across multiple manufacturing facilities. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys building processes, implementing technology, and transforming how manufacturing operations are planned and executed.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead production planning, scheduling, capacity planning and backlog management across multiple facilities
- Implement and optimize planning/scheduling technology and ERP integration
- Standardize planning processes and improve production visibility
- Align production schedules with customer commitments, capacity and business priorities
- Lead and develop a high-performing planning team
- 10+ years of progressive production planning/scheduling experience in manufacturing
- Multi-site manufacturing experience
- Experience implementing or significantly improving planning/scheduling systems
- Strong ERP/MRP and capacity planning experience
- MTO/ETO or complex manufacturing experience preferred
