Volunteer Mentor

Job Description

As a volunteer mentor, you will provide guidance, support, and encouragement to at-risk youth, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young individuals in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentorship: Provide one-on-one or group mentoring to at-risk youth, focusing on personal development, education, and life skills.
• Support and Guidance: Help mentees set and achieve goals, offering advice and resources to assist them in overcoming obstacles.
• Program Participation: Participate in Brakin Out Inc. programs and events, contributing to the overall success and growth of the organization.
• Advocate for Youth: Act as a positive role model and advocate for the needs and interests of at-risk youth within the community.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per month.
• Previous experience in mentoring, education, social work, or related fields is a plus.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of mentees.
