Position: RN Quality Coordinator Performance Improvement

Job Summary

Full Time Day shift position, 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday. Coordinator in Performance Improvement providing PI support and leadership across clinical and nonclinical service lines, participating in core measure reviews, facilitating teams, and coordinating medical staff peer review process.

Responsibilities
  • Identifying and coordinating activities to improve patient care processes and outcomes.
  • Collaborating across the organization with leaders to develop metrics and data collection methodologies.
  • Providing analysis to achieve department and organization performance improvement goals.
  • Developing reports that support PI activities.
  • Supporting patient safety program, including management of sentinel events, root cause analysis, national patient safety goals, and integration of initiatives within existing programs such as NQF Safe Practices and medication safety.
  • Maintaining communication with administration, medical staff, and departmental leaders regarding PI activities.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • BSN required within 24 months of hire.
  • Current RN license in the state of Texas or a compact license.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position in an acute care facility.
