You will be the Metrologist Sr for the Calibration Laboratory team. Our team is responsible for ensuring precision measurement processes and compliance with AS9100D and internal quality system requirements. What You Will Be Doing As the Metrologist Sr you will be responsible for leading calibration activities that guarantee the reliability of critical equipment across the organization. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Develop and maintain measurement processes for dimensional, force, temperature, pressure, and electrical instruments.
* Plan and execute calibration schedules and perform uncertainty analyses.
* Lead investigations of out-of-tolerance findings and drive corrective actions.
* Document results ensuring traceability and compliance with AS9100D and ISO/IEC 17025.

The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a Secret Clearance An advanced degree in a related field, with a minimum of three years' experience in a metrology or calibration environment. Formal training in a related field. At least two years of hands on calibration experience in a laboratory environment. Desired
Skills:
PMEL, TMDE, or Metrology training. Proficiency with calibration software. A solid understanding of measurement uncertainty concepts. Strong organizational skills. The ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent written and verbal communication are required. Security Clearance Statement:

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
