* You will be the Quality Engineer Staff for the Missiles & Fire Control Quality Team  Our team is responsible for ensuring product quality across hardware, software, systems, supplier, and customer domains

** What You Will Be Doing*
* As the Quality Engineer Staff you will be responsible for driving quality excellence across the MFC program

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

+ Lead implementation of quality requirements for proposals and BOEs

+ Conduct reviews of RFPs, contracts, and supplier deliverables

+ Develop and maintain quality metrics and documentation

+ Lead parts‑review and corrective‑action meetings with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors

+ Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance across hardware, software, and systems

MUST BE A U S  CITIZEN   This position is located at a facility that requires special access  The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance

* Basic Qualifications:

*
* - Technical Engineering  STEM - Engineering / Science  degree at the Bachelor level or above

- Ability to obtain a secret clearance   DOD Secret

-  Minimum of 5 years of professional quality‑engineering experience in aerospace or a closely related industry

- Demonstrated experience with AS9100 Quality Management System, including:

- Performing First‑Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements

- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing  GD&T

- Dispositioning non‑conforming products/hardware

- Proven ability to conduct root‑cause analysis using causal‑analysis tools and to develop/maintain inspection standards, work instructions, and procedures

- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and working with tooling and test‑equipment manufacturing

Skills:

* - Ability to create accurate, complete and competitive proposals and Basis‑of‑Estimate  BOE  documentation

- Experience developing inspection methods, work instructions and procedures for manufactured products

- Knowledge of configuration and data‑management practices

- Understanding of audit processes and how to apply audit findings

- Familiarity with industry‑recognized quality systems  e g , ISO, NADCAP

- Experience working with government customers and meeting contract requirements

- Experience establishing performance metrics to identify and drive process improvement

- Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision

- Energetic self‑starter who collaborates effectively and resolves complex technical issues
