You will be the Supplier Quality Engineer for the Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of supplier quality, driving project and program success. What You Will Be Doing As the Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our suppliers and their products, developing and implementing effective quality control processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive supplier performance.

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

- Developing and implementing supplier quality control processes
- Conducting audits and assessments to ensure supplier compliance
- Collaborating with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve performance
- Analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Working with internal stakeholders to drive supplier quality initiatives
- Participate in supplier failure diagnoses, Material Review Board (MRB) activities, and drawing/process reviews to ensure design assurance.

- Act as the technical liaison for quality engineering matters, interfacing daily with suppliers, program management, and customers. - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Technical Engineering (STEM - Engineering / Science) degree at the Bachelor level or above
• Ability to obtain a secret clearance - DOD Secret
• An understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), Specifications, Contracts that will enable development and review of SQE Processes, and related Performance Metrics
• Root cause analysis investigation experience and corrective/preventative action selection and execution
• Must have knowledge and understanding of critical design attributes and auditing/surveying capabilities
• Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming Material (Material Review Board)
• Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Ability to travel 25% of the time and ability to work a flexible schedule (after hours or weekends when needed) Desired

Skills:

• Demonstrated experience in project management from idea creation, to team involvement, thru execution and closeout of actions
• A basic understanding of the MFC SAP and P2P business systems
• ASQ Certification or Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt/Black Belt)
• Experience with product source inspection, auditing and surveillance activities at suppliers
• Strong understanding in AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
• Demonstrated Leadership, Customer Relationship Management skills Security Clearance Statement:
