You will be the Quality Engineer for the Missiles & Fire Control Quality Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring product quality across hardware, software, systems, supplier, and customer domains. What You Will Be Doing As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for driving quality excellence across the MFC program. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Develop, review, and maintain quality standards, methods, and procedures.
* Analyze quality data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
* Perform assessments, audits, and independent reviews to ensure compliance.
* Lead parts-review and corrective-action meetings with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Technical Engineering (STEM - Engineering / Science) degree at the Bachelor level or above (required)
• Ability to obtain a secret clearance - DOD Secret
• Basic understanding of the Quality Management System (QMS) and Quality Engineering roles and responsibilities across all life cycles.
• Previous experience with collaboration with cross functional teams
• Experience in Microsoft Office applications:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Knowledge of dispositioning non-conforming products/ hardware Desired

Skills:

• Knowledge of creating accurate, complete, correct, current and competitive Proposals / Basis of Estimate (BOE)
• Engineering or Quality experience developing methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured products
• Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management
• Demonstrated understanding of audits
• Knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems
• Experience working with Government customers
• Experience in establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement
• An understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Security Clearance Statement:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
