Position: Quality Engineer – MRO / FAA Focus – Texas (Onsite)

Minimum Requirements (Read Carefully):
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Quality, or related field (accredited institution)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality or Engineering within an FAA/EASA regulated environment (preferably MRO)
  • Demonstrated experience as a primary interface with the FAA and regulatory authorities, including regulatory audits and findings closure
  • Strong knowledge of PMA documentation and regulatory compliance
  • Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, green card holder, asylee, refugee) per ITAR regulations
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • Position is onsite in Grand Prairie, Texas - must reside in, or relocate to, Texas
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SAP system experience
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma
  • Exposure to AS9100, AS9110, ISO
    9001, EASA, CAAC standards
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a primary quality point of contact with the FAA and regulatory authorities for Part 145 activities, audits, inspections, and regulatory inquiries
  • Lead preparation, review, and maintenance of FAA and PMA regulatory documentation, substantiation data, and conformity records
  • Coordinate directly with FAA inspectors for quality and airworthiness matters, including audit preparation, corrective action responses, and regulatory compliance
  • Ensure all PMA-related activities comply with applicable CFRs, FAA guidance, and company quality management systems
  • Collaborate with shop floor, engineering, supply chain, and customers to drive quality standards
  • Analyze inspection/testing processes, conduct audits, and lead corrective/preventive actions
  • Manage customer requirements, satisfaction, and technical communications related to quality
  • Support internal and external quality audits, including with regulatory agencies
Physical & Work Environment:
  • Split between office and production floor environments (occasional need for hearing protection)
  • Regular use of computer and office machinery
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively
