Description
You will be the Senior Quality Engineer for the Missiles & Fire Control Quality Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring product quality across hardware, software, systems, supplier, and customer domains.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Senior Quality Engineer you will be responsible for driving quality excellence across the MFC program.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, review, and maintain quality standards, methods, and procedures.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
- Perform assessments, audits, and independent reviews to ensure compliance.
- Lead parts‑review and corrective‑action meetings with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Apply lean tools to reduce waste and improve processes.

LocationThis position is in Dallas.
Basic Qualifications- Technical Engineering (STEM – Engineering / Science) degree at the Bachelor level or above
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance – DOD Secret
- Demonstrated understanding of AS9100 Quality Management Systems
- Experience with performing First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements
- Knowledge of dispositioning non‑conforming products/hardware
- An understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Previous experience with collaboration with cross‑functional teams
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Knowledge of creating accurate, complete, correct, current and competitive Proposals / Basis of Estimate (BOE)
- Understanding engineering drawings requirements, mechanical and electrical inspection methods
- Engineering or Quality experience developing methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured products
- Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management
- Demonstrated understanding of audits
- Knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems
- Experience working with Government customers
- Experience in establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires a Secret clearance. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Security Clearance Level: Secret
Work ScheduleThe work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Schedule:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
