Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:00PM-1:30AM

* Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

*** Audit and monitor quality requirements in accordance with the company quality assurance policies and specifications.
* Conduct inspections on products at all stages of the manufacturing process.  + Document and report inspection findings and results in the BMS via Task entries.  + Perform mechanical, dimensional and visual/cosmetic inspection of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies as per Inspection Plans and Specification Requirements.
* Read and interpret specifications and Engineering prints.
* Perform product identification and traceability activities, as required.
* Work with other company personnel to resolve inspection questions.  Communicate/interface with:  + Product Managers to ensure product is in compliance with Specifications.  + Purchasing to address/resolve findings on supplied products.  + Area Supervisors on non-conformities that have originated in their area of responsibility.
* Document information on the computer in various databases and other internal programs.
* Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures. Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.## Qualifications
** Experience, Skills &

Education:

*** Experience Level: minimum of two years in a manufacturing or similar environment.
* Must possess basic writing skills
* Understanding and use of basic measuring tools (Calipers, micrometer & angle gage) preferred.
* Competent in use of K&N’s Business Management System (BMS)
* Previous ISO 9001 experience helpful.
* Previous Quality Assurance experience helpful.
* Must be competent in use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Windows software.

* Must demonstrate ability to simultaneously handle multiple duties, prioritize, follow through on all tasks and projects, and meet pre-determined deadlines with limited supervision
