Job Description *
* The Quality Operations Associate Manager leads CMM programmers and technical quality practitioners responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting advanced inspection and process capabilities. This leader partners across Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations to support current production needs and introduce technologies that improve measurement accuracy, expand inspection capabilities, and increase throughput.

Key responsibilities include:

+ Lead the development, validation, optimization, and production use of CMM programs, advanced measurement systems, model-based inspection, and digital inspection tools.

+ Establish technical priorities and implementation plans that align technology development and insertion with product line needs, production commitments, and future capacity requirements.

+ Use statistical process control (SPC), process capability analysis, inspection results, and operational metrics to guide decisions, address adverse trends, and measure improvement effectiveness.

+ Develop and maintain processes, procedures, and standard work that ensure consistent inspection practices, data integrity, traceability, and compliance with internal and contractual requirements.

+ Establish training and qualification processes, assess technical proficiency, and promote mentoring and knowledge transfer to strengthen the team's technical capabilities.

+ Interface with DoW customers, government quality representatives, and internal stakeholders to communicate inspection capabilities, address technical concerns, and support acceptance of inspection methods and results.

+ Manage staffing, resource allocation, work assignments, and an effective business rhythm that balances daily production support with technical development and improvement projects.

+ Coordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, compensation, recognition, and disciplinary actions.

+ Ensure effective implementation of the quality management system within the assigned area, including appropriate flowdown of requirements and support for product acceptance and delivery.

+ Manage technical and operational risks and opportunities while meeting assigned cost, schedule, and financial commitments.

This role is accountable for developing both the people and the technical capabilities needed to deliver reliable inspection results and support the organization's production growth.

** Further Information About This Opportunity*
* MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

** Basic Qualifications*
* + Bachelors degree or higher in STEM

+ Must be a US Citizen and have ability to obtain a secret clearance

+ Experience leading technical teams or projects, including coordinating work and providing technical direction

+ Experience in manufacturing quality, inspection, metrology, or manufacturing engineering

+ Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

+ Experience using or supporting advanced dimensional inspection technologies, such as CMMs, laser trackers, portable measurement arms, 3D scanning, or model-based inspection

+ Experience implementing or improving inspection methods, technical tools, or digital manufacturing processes

** Desired Skills*
* + Experience interfacing with DoW customers and government quality representatives to address technical requirements, present supporting data, and resolve inspection or quality concerns

+ Experience developing and implementing processes and procedures that ensure inspection data integrity, traceability, and consistent collection, analysis, and reporting

+ Experience developing technical training, documenting standard work, and assessing proficiency to support consistent execution and knowledge transfer

+ Experience coaching and developing technical personnel while prioritizing technology implementation projects and daily production support

+ Experience partnering across Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations to resolve technical issues and implement sustainable process improvements
