The main responsibility of the Server is to "Make Pleasurable Dining Affordable." Fulfilling Golden Corral’s mission statement requires a positive attitude and ongoing professionalism. Hospitality is the most important part of the Server’s responsibilities. The keys to success include a clean, neat appearance, a positive attitude, and courtesy.
Hospitality:- Ensures guest satisfaction and promotes return visits by following the Eight Steps of Service.
- Practices positive public relations by ensuring our restaurant is welcoming and inclusive for all guests.
- Is aware of guests’ needs and works to make their experience pleasurable.
- Shows enthusiasm and knowledge about new products and promotions.
- Promotes teamwork by assisting other Servers to ensure outstanding guest service.
- Understands product specifications and ensures receipts match the number of guests dining.
- Performs opening and closing procedures and side work duties.
- Reports equipment and facility issues to the Manager.
- Follows correct table bussing procedures.
- Practices safe work habits to ensure safety of all staff and guests.
- Follows cleanliness, service, and quality standards as per duty roster.
- Adheres to local health department laws.
