The Sales Associate role at Bloomingdale’s Outlet in Grand Prairie, TX is a full-time, on‑site position focused on delivering an engaging customer experience on the sales floor. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers, answering product questions, and providing styling suggestions to support confident purchase decisions. The Sales Associate will process transactions accurately, handle returns and exchanges, and ensure fitting rooms and sales areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked.

This role also involves maintaining visual standards, replenishing merchandise, supporting inventory tasks, and collaborating with team members to meet sales and service goals. Occasional evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required based on business needs.

• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills to engage shoppers and build positive relationships.
• Basic retail sales, cash handling, and point-of-sale system skills to complete transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Ability to maintain store presentation standards, including merchandising, organizing product displays, and keeping the sales floor neat.
• Time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple customers and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliability and professionalism, with the ability to follow store policies and contribute to a respectful, inclusive workplace.
• Comfort with standing, walking, bending, and lifting light to moderate merchandise throughout the shift.
• Prior retail or customer-facing experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
