Description
The Sales Account Manager/Reservationist is responsible for managing all aspects of client relationships from development to completion of service. A key objective is to build and retain ECHO/AFC relationships over multiple markets while generating new revenue with consistent margin. Ideal candidate must have strong customer service skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), type at a minimum of 60 WPM with accuracy, handle busy phones and confidently meet with clients face‑to‑face.
Ability to multi‑task and communicate effectively is required.
Job Type: Full‑time. This office position runs Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime and weekends. Ground Transport experience, specifically in the Motor Coach and Charter industry, is required.
Responsibilities- Client Acquisition:
Execute outbound calls to minor and major accounts and manage a lead generation pipeline. - Sales Lifecycle:
Provide accurate price quotes, develop logistics plans, and close sales while maintaining acceptable conversion rates. - Account Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for confirmations, change documents, and contracts. - Market Intelligence:
Track and report on competitor pricing, service offerings, inventory trends, and report to VP of National Sales. - Financial Oversight:
Develop individual revenue goals and ensure timely collection of payments, invoices, and POs. - Monitor services provided with follow‑up to achieve consistent customer satisfaction.
- Handle inbound calls and respond in a timely manner.
- Maintain Santa Cruz software experience.
- Build a book of business (a plus).
- Submit weekly status reports.
Base Salary + Commission. Salary
Description:
$50,000.
