Responsibilities
Develop, coach, and motivate sales staff to achieve monthly revenue and conversion goals. Provide guidance on prospecting, public speaking, closing, product knowledge, pricing, payment terms, and electronic contracts. Review and ensure compliance of sales contracts with company processes and regulatory requirements. Use CRM systems to identify and assign warm leads. Partner with marketing and sales management to develop campaigns, target audiences, and advertising strategies.
Create annual sales plans for each associate, outlining actions to support goal attainment. Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiencies and adapt to change initiatives.
Build a trusting and reliable team. Understand career aspirations, assign development tasks, and provide constructive feedback. Use a proactive and collaborative management style to increase engagement and reduce turnover. Screen and hire qualified candidates, assess staff abilities, recommend pay increases and career advancements, and train staff on processes, procedures, and controls.
Minimum Requirements- High School Diploma or GED;
Associate’s degree in a related discipline preferred. - Licenses:
Series6 or7 license current in the operating state, or obtain within six months of employment. - Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- At least four (4) years of outside or inside direct sales experience to consumers, with a proven record of exceeding sales goals and conversion ratios.
- Proficiency with CRM databases and
- Experience with electronic sales contracts.
- Experience in the funeral services industry is a plus.
- Leadership qualities and skills.
- Professional written and verbal communication, including influencing and public speaking.
- Comfortable with in‑home sales and group presentations.
- Ability to communicate with remote stakeholders.
- Positive attitude, self‑motivation, and a drive to advance industry knowledge.
- Process and result oriented, capable of removing obstacles and exploring alternatives.
- Cognitive abilities: reasoning, planning, problem solving, abstract thinking, rapid learning, and application of new knowledge.
- MS Office Suite proficiency.
- Work indoors and outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions; local travel up to 25%.
- Field dress code policy compliance.
- Postures: frequent, continuous standing up to 6 hours per day; continuous sitting up to 6 hours per day; climbing stairs frequently.
- Physical demands: manual dexterity for paperwork, calculators, computers, and phone usage; lifting, pushing, pulling up to 20pounds.

beyond standard hours as needed.
