Job Details Diagnose and repair complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation-related equipment issues. Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems, operator interfaces, servo systems, and variable frequency drives. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and reliability. Build, wire, and commission electrical control panels and automation systems. Interpret and develop electrical schematics, control drawings, and technical documentation.
Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues. Troubleshoot communication networks and industrial control devices used within automated production systems. Support equipment upgrades, retrofits, rebuilds, and continuous improvement projects. Calibrate and maintain sensors, transducers, relays, motor starters, power supplies, and other control components. Assist with commissioning new equipment and validating system performance. Maintain accurate maintenance records, project documentation, and technical reports.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to maintenance technicians and junior team members. Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, electrical safety standards, and safe work practices.
Required Qualifications 7+ years of industrial maintenance, automation, controls, or manufacturing experience. Strong background troubleshooting industrial electrical systems up to 480V. Minimum 3 years of PLC programming, editing, and debugging experience.
Experience with HMIs, servo systems, motion control, VFDs, and industrial networking. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals. Hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Familiarity with industrial automation software and programming platforms.
