Job Duties:
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues. Repair or replace defective components to restore equipment functionality. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential maintenance concerns. Complete work orders and document maintenance activities accurately. Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.
Work closely with production teams to minimize equipment downtime. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and operational efficiency. Perform facility maintenance tasks as assigned. Requirements:
Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and repair experience. Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals is preferred. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks. Basic computer skills for work order documentation.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in varying temperatures throughout the shift. Ability to work overtime or on-call as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or production environment. PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus. Welding, fabrication, or machining experience is a plus. Knowledge of lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and OSHA safety standards.
