Bore Operator

About this Role

North Star Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced and dedicated Bore Operator to join our team in the Central DFW area supporting active gas utility field operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lifting a minimum of 90 lb.
• Standing for a minimum of 8 hours.
• Operating equipment on the job site.
• Basic knowledge of machine operation and maintenance.
• Completing daily truck and equipment inspection paperwork.
• Loading and unloading drill stems.
• Connecting and disconnecting reamer.
• Locating and marking utilities with paint.
• Hand digging with a shovel.
• Installing appropriate traffic control to secure work site and machine.
• Working under hot, cold, and rainy weather conditions.
• Hand digging holes, entering and exiting excavations with or without ladders, and using power/hand tools.
• Passing OQ and Safety training courses.

• OQ certification (Gas Distribution).
• Class C driver  license.
• Minimum 1 year experience operating.
