In this highly independent, customer-facing role, you'll operate from a company-provided mobile service vehicle to diagnose and repair motorcoaches and other commercial vehicles at customer locations and in the field. The Mobile Diesel Technician is an advanced-level field service technician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining motorcoaches and other commercial vehicles at customer locations and remote job sites. Operating from a company-provided mobile service vehicle, this position independently performs complex mechanical, diesel, electrical, HVAC, and electronic diagnostics and repairs while delivering responsive, professional service directly to ABC customers.

The Mobile Diesel Technician serves as a trusted technical resource in the field, taking ownership of repairs from initial diagnosis through completion and communicating effectively with customers, Service leadership, Parts personnel, and other technical resources. This position requires regular travel, including overnight travel, and the ability to work independently while maintaining ABC's standards for safety, quality, documentation, and customer service.

In this role, you'll make an impact by:

• Quickly and accurately diagnosing complex vehicle concerns in the field and delivering effective repairs that maximize customer uptime.
• Taking ownership of service calls from initial diagnosis through repair, verification, documentation, and customer communication.
• Building trusted customer relationships through technical expertise, responsiveness, professionalism, and dependable follow-through.
• Working independently and making sound technical decisions while knowing when to engage additional internal resources.
• Maintaining a well-equipped, organized, and service-ready mobile vehicle so you're prepared to respond effectively to customer needs.
• Identifying root causes and delivering high-quality repairs that minimize repeat failures and improve long-term vehicle reliability.
• Continuously expanding your expertise across diesel, electrical, HVAC, electronic, EV/high-voltage, and emerging commercial vehicle technologies.

Mobile Field Service & Customer Support

• Travel to customer locations and other field sites to diagnose, repair, and maintain motorcoaches and commercial vehicles.
• Operate a company-provided mobile service vehicle to deliver on-site technical support and repair services.
