Job Description
The Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic plays a critical role in maintaining and repairing Jet Ex Freight heavy diesel-powered vehicles and equipment within a small team environment. This position focuses on ensuring all machinery operates safely and efficiently through expert diagnostics, troubleshooting, and quality assurance practices.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostics on heavy duty diesel engines and related systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to identify faults
- Conduct repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Implement quality assurance checks to maintain high service standards
- Collaborate closely with a small team to coordinate repair workflows
- Minimum of 5 years experience in heavy duty diesel mechanics
- Technical diploma in diesel mechanics or related field
Jet Ex Freight is a 24/7 trucking company located in Grand Prairie Tx it has 100 plus trucks and 175 plus dry van trailers with a 5 bay mechanic shop to keep there equipment up to DOT standards.
