Polk Mechanical is seeking a Licensed Plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial environments. This role requires a valid plumbing license, strong technical expertise, and the ability to work independently while ensuring all work complies with applicable codes and safety standards.
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and determine necessary repairs
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national plumbing codes
- Perform testing, inspections, and system verification as required
- Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, and other trades
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Complete required documentation and job-related paperwork
- Proven experience as a plumber in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
- Experience working independently and completing jobs to code standards
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and installation methods
- Valid plumbing license required
- Valid driver's license required
- Relevant trade certifications preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varying indoor and outdoor environments
