The Advanced Solutions team within the Data & AI Enablement Org is seeking an AI/ML Full‑Stack engineer or a full‑stack engineer looking to grow into an AI/ML engineer, to support the AI Strategy Acceleration portfolio. Teams focus on standardized agentic development and ontology generation that enables semantic data discovery, reasoning, and information retrieval, underpinning all AI solutions within the Advanced Solutions Division.

This role also supports experimental work exploring cutting‑edge technologies.

• Collaborate with AI, software engineering, and systems development experts to design and develop innovative, enterprise‑scale AI solutions.
• Architect, deploy, and support cloud‑ and on‑premise services for the AI Strategy Acceleration portfolio.
• Build applications that inform data‑driven decision making and help the organization stay ahead of the curve.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in experimental exploration of cutting‑edge AI technologies.

• Proven full‑stack software development experience with advanced Python (capable of mentoring and code review) and proficiency in at least two other programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Go) and modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Angular).
• Ability to design and validate knowledge graphs based on ontologies, integrating graph data into applications and handling the entire lifecycle of an AI‑powered application.
• Experience with LLMs / Generative AI and Cloud Infrastructure using Git Ops practices.
• Demonstrated experience with API design and specifications (REST/OpenAPI, JSON/JSON‑Schema), including building and managing APIs and back‑end systems.
• US Citizenship required for program requirements and system access.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, AI/ML, or related field (or equivalent education/experience).
• Proven experience maintaining and managing Git Hub/Git Lab projects with multiple developers.
• Experience with strategic use of GenAI Coding Assistants.

• Experience designing and validating knowledge graphs (KG) based on ontologies and integrating graph data into applications.
• Familiarity with KG adjacent tools and technologies (RDF, OWL, SPARQL, Ontop).
• Expertise in agent development using standard agentic frameworks (CrewAI, Google ADK, Lang Chain, Lang Graph, Pydantic AI, AWS Strands).
• Expertise with autonomous workflows, Agentic devOps, and the Agentic development lifecycle.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with AWS services (Amazon RDS Postgre
  
  SQL, Amazon Bedrock, EC2, S3) for building, deploying, and scaling applications.
• Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Git Lab CI, Jenkins, Kubernetes/Open Shift) with background deploying/using Terraform/Ansible.
• Data engineering experience.
• Experience with production‑level LLM tool‑calling workflows.
• Expert design and delivery experience in API development and integration (REST, Graph

• Strategic use of GenAI Coding Assistants.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and cross‑functional stakeholder experience.
• Solid understanding of Lockheed Martin’s business areas, end‑to‑end business processes, and supporting data.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, AI/ML, or related field.

US Citizenship is required for this role due to program requirements and system access.

Annual base salary range: $152,900 – $264,960 in California, Massachusetts, and New York (major metropolitan areas); $132,900 – $234,370 in other states.
