We are looking for a motivated Software Developer with strong expertise in text‑based programming languages (e.g., Python, C, or similar) to join a tight‑knit team building an automated test suite for a series of tactical system emulators.
What You Will Be DoingThe developer will create and maintain independent software modules that mimic complex operational environments, enabling rigorous testing of a large, frequently updated SW as the UUT whose outcomes have real‑world impact. Responsibilities include implementing robust, data‑driven test logic, integrating with existing emulation frameworks, supporting continuous‑integration pipelines, and collaborating closely with system engineers to ensure traceability and repeatability. The role operates in a fast‑paced, high‑visibility program where clear communication, rapid problem‑solving, and a proactive attitude are essential.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. A Final Secret Clearance is required to start.
Desired Skills- Demonstrated experience integrating software modules into automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, test‑case design, and verification/validation processes.
- Hands‑on experience with Jira (or a similar issue‑tracking tool) and familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflow practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand‑ups.
- Basic understanding of networking protocols and data exchange formats (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, JSON, XML) commonly used in tactical system emulation.
