We are seeking a motivated Software Developer with deep expertise in LabVIEW to join a tight‑knit team that builds and maintains an automated test suite for a family of tactical‑system emulators. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) or related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
* Professional experience developing complex LabVIEW applications for test and measurement, including the creation of reusable VIs, use of the LabVIEW Architecture Framework (or equivalent design patterns), and ability to script test‑automation sequences within the LabVIEW environment.
* Proficiency in at least one text‑based programming language (e.g., Python, C#, C++) to complement LabVIEW work for auxiliary tasks such as data post‑processing, instrument driver creation, or CI/CD automation.
* Ability to interpret and work from hardware schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
* Familiarity with version‑control systems (Git, SVN) and configuration‑management best practices.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced team environment.
* A proactive, "hungry‑to‑learn" attitude and willingness to acquire new skills on the job.
* Must be able to obtain a secret clearance
Desired
Skills:
* Demonstrated experience integrating software modules into automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
* Solid understanding of software testing principles, test‑case design, and verification/validation processes.
* Hands‑on experience with Jira (or a similar issue‑tracking tool) and familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflow practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand‑ups.
* Basic understanding of networking protocols and data exchange formats (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, JSON, XML) commonly used in tactical system emulation.
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
