- Develop Software
- Integrate features/algorithms into C/C++ applications
- Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment
- Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software
- Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls

Basic Qualifications- Must have an active DOD secret security clearance
- Experience with modern C++ 11
- Embedded OS experience:
Yocto, Petalinux, VxWorks, or similar OS - Experience with Embedded Protocols: RS-232, I2C, Canbus, RS-485, Can Open, or similar protocols
- Experience working with Linux distributions (preferably RHEL 8 or higher)
- The candidate must have a growth mindset with a strong ability to learn quickly
- Experience working with pub/sub protocols (RTI DDS, gRPC)
- Experience leading a software development team through different phases of the software development life cycle
- Experience with Python programming and bash scripting
- Experience working with Agile methodologies, JIRA, Git, and automated testing
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
