Overview
We are seeking a high‑energy Technical Team Lead to take charge of an existing, mid‑stage test‑system development effort and lead a focused team of 3–4 engineers through the remaining design, integration, prototyping, EMI qualification, and verification phases. The lead will drive the implementation of RF, software (LabVIEW‑based) and hardware architectures, manage rapid hardware‑software prototyping, and ensure rigorous verification against system‑level test specifications.
In addition to overseeing configuration control and continuous‑integration processes, the role requires frequent briefings and presentations to senior leadership and the U.S. Government customer. This fast‑paced, high‑visibility assignment offers significant growth potential for a self‑motivated technical leader.

- Manage rapid hardware‑software prototyping.
- Ensure rigorous verification against system‑level test specifications.
- Oversee configuration control and continuous‑integration processes.
- Provide frequent briefings and presentations to senior leadership and U.S. Government customers.
- Proven team lead experience managing cross‑functional technical projects.
- Development expertise in software (Python, C/C++, C#, LabVIEW) or hardware engineering.
- High‑energy, self‑motivated; driven to deliver results with minimal oversight.
- Excellent communication and mentorship skills to inspire and guide junior engineers.
- Mastery of two or more languages such as C++, C#, and Python, with solid hands‑on experience applying object‑oriented design patterns.
- Expertise in test‑system hardware design and configuration management, including managing redline updates, version‑controlled schematics, and bill‑of‑materials control.
- Deep familiarity with the full requirements‑management lifecycle and automated‑test equipment specs.
- Proven expertise using DOORS (or equivalent) for requirements authoring, traceability, and change management.
- Skilled at creating detailed test‑system specifications and engineering the hardware architecture needed to realize them.
- Strong background in test‑automation frameworks (e.g., pytest, Google Test, LabVIEW Test Stand) and CI/CD pipelines for continuous verification.
- Experience integrating hardware and software (NI HW, COTS HW) to build end‑to‑end test systems that meet performance and safety margins.
