Senior Software Engineer (Sr)
Location:
Grand Prairie, TX (onsite).
Schedule:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
- Develop embedded software.
- Integrate features/algorithms into C/C++ applications.
- Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities.
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug software for business and mission problems.
- Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software to develop solutions.
- Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation, and analyze system capabilities.
- Perform Control Account Management and Earned Value management, and provide SW subcontract management oversight.
- BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Active DoD Final Secret clearance.
- Proven experience in embedded real‑time C/C++ software development with VxWorks/Linux.
- Strong understanding of MIL‑STD‑1553, serial, I2C, or similar communication protocols.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, principles, and best practices.
- Experience with Control Account Management/Earned Value Management systems or similar budget/schedule management.
- U.S. citizen.
- Experience in software subcontract management.
- MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Working knowledge of Ada.
- Knowledge of Cameo, CMake, Doxygen, Parasoft.
- Firmware interface development experience using ARM and Zynq SoC.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices.
- Prior DoD project software experience.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) using Gitlab and Bitbucket.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
Required:
Secret level clearance, U.S. citizenship.
