Embedded Software Engineer

Required:
Secret Clearance. W2 Hourly Contract Only. Hourly Rate Range: $70.00 - $78.50 (DOE) with limited benefits. This is a W2 hourly contract only with a possible extension; no 1099, no third parties, no C2C. No exceptions (Sorry). Secret Clearance is required.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement embedded software. Team members will analyze algorithm descriptions provided by systems engineering and the existing software code base to determine the best architectural changes to the software. The software is primarily written in C++; knowledge of Ada is beneficial.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement embedded software.
- Analyze algorithm descriptions and existing code to determine the best architectural changes.
- Write software in C++.
- Develop software from requirement analysis to integration, acceptance testing, and delivery.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience.
- Real-time embedded software development with C++ and Linux/Rocky.
- Knowledge of Publish / Subscribe communication protocol (DDS) by RTI (preferred).
- Experience with Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA).
- Experience with C‑Make and multi-threading/processes.
- Experience with Jira, Git Lab, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Google Test or similar unit test tools.
- Experience with Cameo Modeler.
- Benefit:
