Pay and Benefits:

• Annual Base Salary: $50,000 - $60,000
• Plus, yearly bonuses and yearly salary base pay increases based on performance.

The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented, high-energy Freight Forwarder to join our team. You will serve as the vital link between our shippers, vendors, and carriers, ensuring that goods move seamlessly across the globe. This isn't just about moving boxes; it's about solving complex puzzles and providing world-class service to our clients.

Core Responsibilities

• Strategic Logistics Planning:
  Determine the most efficient routes and modes of transport (Air, Sea, Road, Rail) based on client budget and urgency.
• Documentation & Compliance:
  Manage the "paper trail" from start to finish, including Bills of Lading and keeping good internal tracking notes.
• Carrier Relations:
  Negotiate competitive freight rates and secure cargo space while maintaining strong relationships with our carrier network.
• Proactive Problem Solving:
  Monitor shipments in real-time, anticipate potential disruptions, and implement quick solutions to keep the supply chain moving.
• Client Advocacy:
  Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing transparent tracking updates and expert logistics advice.

  Proficiency in logistics management software (TMS) and standard office programs like Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe.
