The Courier driver is responsible for understanding and following the policies, procedures, and SOPs of the lab, while ensuring that all pick-ups and deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner.

Duties include:

• Participate in daily pick-ups and deliveries of samples to and from AFL, including loading and unloading cargo.
• Understand the sample flow from our clients to Sample Management and Logistic Specialists.
• Be familiar with all records and documentation necessary for these activities and ensure accurate documentation of travel assignments.
• Communicate and interact regularly with clients, the Lead Courier, Sample Management, and other team members.
• Drive the company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner and officially reporting and documenting any safety incidents.
• Perform inspections and upkeep on Company Vehicles including checking tire pressure, oil changes and gasoline refills.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and think "on one's feet".
• Possess fundamental understanding of technology.
• Ability to lift at least 40lbs.
• Perform other duties as necessary or assigned by the Lead Courier.

Full Time, 40 hours | Shift: M - F, 9:00AM – 5:30PM | Weekends as Needed

Our ideal candidate will be authorized to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.

Other qualifications include:

• Valid Driver's License issued in the state of operation (Texas)
• Possess clean driving record
• 2 Years of professional driving experience is preferred
• Basic knowledge of testing laboratory concepts and practices is preferred
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong time management and communication skills
