We are searching for a CDL Delivery Driver to join our growing team. This role will transport and deliver products to designated customers.
Responsibilities- Operate a straight truck, box truck or CMV (26,001+ pounds) to transport products to customer locations on assigned delivery routes.
- Learn and optimize routes, ensure correct order fulfillment, and maintain proper documentation (BOLs, manifests, packing slips, Haz Mat summaries).
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections (DVIR), report issues immediately, and keep the vehicle clean.
- Follow all OSHA, DOT, FMCSA and company policies, complete required safety training, and handle Haz Mat materials properly.
- Wear company apparel, maintain a neat appearance, and communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and management.
- Provide fast and courteous customer service. Take ownership of customer needs.
- Assist with preparing orders, loading/unloading, stocking inventory, and other general warehouse tasks as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience; delivery route experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Age 21 or older.
- Valid commercial driver’s license and safe driving history;
Class A or B required. - Able to obtain a DOT medical certification, road test and Clearinghouse Query.
- Haz Mat or Air Brake endorsement preferred.
- Prior forklift certification preferred, or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills to operate transportation systems, dispatch applications, or perform data entry.
- Basic math skills for order verification and document reconciliation.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, meet deadlines and work overtime as needed.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull 100 lbs, walk, climb, kneel, stoop and balance frequently; ability to work in a warehouse 50% of the time.
- Driving a company vehicle is an essential function.
