R Local Delivery Driver (CDL A w/Hazmat) Location

Grand Prairie, TX - Retail shop

• Pay: $27.50 per hour

  Monday‑Friday, Day Shift

• Cylinder Handling
  :
  Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to both external and internal customer locations.
• Record Keeping
  :
  Accurately record deliveries and pick‑ups on a load manifest, obtaining customer signatures for receipt. Collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders and return them to a plant or branch for refilling.
• Safety & Compliance
  :
  Adhere to all Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and government regulations, including DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, OSHA.
• Warehouse Support
  :
  Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed.

• Valid Texas Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Card.
• Hazmat & Airbrake Certifications.
• One (1) year of prior Class‑A or B professional driving experience within the last five (5) years and a commitment to road safety (no more than two convictions or at‑fault accidents within specified limits).
• Graduates with a diploma from an accredited driving school and a minimum of one (1) year of prior driving experience within last five (5) years are welcome.
• Candidate must be at least 21 years or older.
• Proficiency in navigating and comprehending material safety data sheets.
• Ability to routinely lift 25‑75 lbs and occasionally lift 76–125+ lbs with equipment.
• Comfortable operating vehicles with hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours; frequent bending.
• Availability to support team with occasional overtime if necessary.
• Ability to obtain and maintain collaborative safety credentials for customer site access.

• Proficiency in operating heavy machinery (Forklift/Moffett).
